Translasian #1

Oh there's endless amounts of fun in signs with missed translations. Here's the first. You can follow along in future posts!
I'd like to thank my friend, Wendy, for bringing this one to my attention. It's on a tote bag she bought in Tokyo. How cool are they that they put English sayings on their fashion products? I guess the missed translation here is no different than all those silly Americans with Kanji tattoos that do not say "courage" or "love"...

What am I supposed to do?

I don't drive in cities like New York, Boston and San Francisco if I don't have to. Then on vacation, I found myself driving in Valencia, Spain. I don't speak or read the language. I am unexperienced with European roundabouts.
Then I came upon this situation...What am I supposed to do?
I was perplexed enough to stop and take this photo before making my move into this intersection.

Permission to pass

Seems that someone can block your passage on this sidewalk in downtown LA.

Jesus-freaks

I have NO idea why, on a random weekday, the intersection of Pomona Ave and Garfield in Montebello was chosen as the spot to minister to the commuters. They weren't blocking traffic-it always looks like this.

Suicide

I saw this on a semi-truck on the 60 FWY a few days ago...snapped this photo and it's stuck with me.
